These Terms and Conditions govern the contracting of services offered by Teide Essence, consisting mainly of tourist excursions on the island of Tenerife, including (but not limited to) guided tours of Teide National Park, other volcanoes, and exclusive VIP experiences.
Booking Conditions:
• Reservations can be made through our website, WhatsApp, email, or at authorised points of sale.
• The reservation will be effective once payment or formal confirmation has been received.
• The customer must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
Payments:
• Payments are accepted by card, cash, bank transfer or other payment methods indicated.
• For personalised tours, a deposit or full payment in advance may be required.
• All prices include indirect taxes (IGIC 7%), unless otherwise indicated.
Cancellations and Refunds:
On the part of the customer:
• Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance: full refund.
• Between 48 and 24 hours: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund.
On behalf of the company:
• If weather conditions, safety alerts, force majeure or logistical problems prevent the activity from taking place, the following will be offered:
• Change of date at no additional cost.
• Or full refund, depending on the customer’s preference.
Special conditions for VIP experiences:
• Due to their exclusive nature and prior arrangements required, reservations for VIP activities are non-refundable in case of cancellation by the customer.
• When possible, a change of date may be offered, subject to availability.
Wildlife observations:
• During certain experiences, including VIP activities such as dolphin watching, sightings of marine fauna (dolphins, whales, turtles, etc.) are frequent but cannot be guaranteed, as these animals live in their natural habitat.
• Teide Essence does not offer refunds or compensation in the event that sightings do not occur.
• The company is committed to conducting these activities respectfully and in accordance with current environmental regulations.
Responsibility:
• Teide Essence is committed to offering a safe, professional service that complies with current tourism regulations.
• Customers participate at their own risk. Activities in natural areas involve inherent risks (terrain, altitude, weather).
• Claims for reasons beyond the company’s control (seasickness, vertigo, unreported physical conditions, etc.) will not be accepted.
Minimum age and physical conditions:
• Some excursions may not be suitable for children under a certain age, people with reduced mobility or respiratory/heart problems.- The customer is responsible for reporting any relevant medical conditions before participating in the activity.
Service modifications:
• The company reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or activities for operational, safety, or weather reasons.
• Every effort will be made to maintain the quality of the experience.
Data Protection:
The customer’s personal data will be processed in accordance with current regulations (General Data Protection Regulation – EU 2016/679 and Organic Law 3/2018), and only for the purposes of managing reservations, communication and our own promotions.
Applicable law and jurisdiction:
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, unless the customer is a consumer, in which case the provisions of the law shall apply.
The reservation or contracting of any Teide Essence service implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
