These Terms and Conditions govern all services offered by Teide Essence, consisting primarily of private tourist excursions on the island of Tenerife — including guided tours of Teide National Park, volcanic landscapes, and exclusive private experiences.
| Notice given | Refund |
|---|---|

| Between 48 and 24 hours | 50% refund |
| Less than 24 hours or no-show | No refund |
If Teide Essence must cancel due to adverse weather, safety alerts, force majeure, or logistical issues, customers will be offered a free date change or a full refund — at their preference.
During certain experiences, sightings of marine or terrestrial fauna (dolphins, whales, turtles, birds, etc.) are frequent but cannot be guaranteed, as these animals live in their natural habitat. Teide Essence does not offer refunds or compensation in the event that sightings do not occur. All activities are conducted in accordance with current environmental regulations.
Teide Essence is committed to providing a safe, professional service compliant with current tourism regulations. Activities in natural environments involve inherent risks — terrain, altitude, weather — and customers participate at their own responsibility.
Claims arising from conditions beyond the company's control (seasickness, vertigo, undisclosed medical conditions, etc.) will not be accepted.
Some excursions may not be suitable for young children, people with reduced mobility, or those with respiratory or cardiovascular conditions. The customer is responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions prior to the activity. Teide Essence reserves the right to restrict participation if safety may be compromised.
The company reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, or activities for operational, safety, or weather reasons. Every effort will be made to preserve the quality and essence of the experience.
Personal data provided during booking will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and Organic Law 3/2018, solely for the purposes of managing reservations, customer communication, and our own promotions. For further details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, unless the customer qualifies as a consumer under applicable legislation, in which case the relevant statutory provisions shall apply.
The reservation or contracting of any Teide Essence service implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
